People on the Journey

Profiles of People on the Journey” tells the stories of real people who suffered a significant loss and survived; giving them the opportunity to tell their stories to encourage and even inspire others who may be struggling.

Each one of us our own story to tell. I am inviting YOU to allow me the privilege of telling your story on my web site. I feel sure that it will be a big help to others.

Each profile will contain 5 elements, with the following themes:

1. My story (who this person was, and what happened)
2. What I felt at first (your feelings and reactions)
3. What helped the most (things that really helped, OR that DIDN’T)
4. What I learned` (insights and lessons from the experience)
5. What I would suggest (advice for others on the journey)

Each profile should be 400 – 500 words long in total (about 1 page).

We also ask you to send a digital photograph of yourself, and if acceptable, a picture of the person who died, and one with both of you together. Send us several pictures, and we will select the ones we feel best fit into the profile. We would also respectfully ask that, unless you know Dr Bill personally, that you send the name and email address of someone, like a minister, who will verify your story.

I am sure you will understand that this is only to maintain the integrity of this feature.
